Economic Summit

Join us for a half day event as we take a deep-dive into discussions shaping our economy. We will take a national approach to the economy and then focus more on a regional discussion. This summit is an opportunity to have a broader look on economic development while also being able to network with people from around the region.

About the Speakers:

Mr. Keith Prather is a Managing Director and Co-founder of Armada Corporate Intelligence. During his 23 years with Armada, he has consulted to corporations providing market intelligence and analysis covering domestic and global economics, geopolitics, raw material and supply chain developments, environmental impacts and other factors that affect the corporate operating environment.

Throughout his career, Keith has been at the forefront of introducing innovative approaches to corporate intelligence. He has authored numerous articles and white papers, sharing his insights on adapting intelligence strategies to meet the demands of the modern business landscape.

Keith is a former CFO and is the chief editor for the Flagship, an “Officer of the Watch Report” read by more than 18,000 corporate executives and he presents keynotes on the economy at more than 60 events a year. 

 

Tom Johnson is President and CEO of Elevate Rapid City. Previously, he was the Director of Community Engagement and Economic Development at Colorado State University (CSU) where he created several new initiatives and signature programs including The CSU Market Research Center, which specialized in helping decision-makers in industry, education, and government use data to make better decisions about policies that shape Colorado’s economic future.

Before his work at CSU, Johnson was the Chief Performance Officer (CPO) for Wyoming Business Council (WBC), where he created a system for measuring the financial and qualitative impacts of every economic and community development program for the State of Wyoming.  Johnson led several initiatives on behalf of the state, including recruiting, business development, and community development. Johnson has significant experience in New Market Tax Credits, business valuation, workforce development, and entrepreneurship.  Johnson also created the Economic Development Building Blocks model used by the Wyoming Economic Development Association (WEDA) to explain economic development to constituents, stakeholders, and elected officials.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Collin Perciballi, Senior Consultant - Community

Collin Perciballi is a seasoned economic development professional with skill as both practitioner and consultant. He has experience in labor market analysis, target industry attraction studies, foreign direct investment (FDI), competitive benchmarking, and site selection. Collin previously served as Project Manager for Conway Data, Inc and Senior Analyst for Investment Consulting Associates.

Since joining Lightcast, Collin has advanced new ways of providing insights via data, such as the development of data visualization dashboards or the expansion of talent attraction & retention analysis methodologies.

He received an MBA from the University of Bologna Business School (BBS), an MA in History and Territorial Analysis from the University of Catania, and a BA in Political Science from Auburn University. Outside the work environment, you can find Collin injuring himself on the tennis court, drawing his latest masterpiece, or wishing he was more Italian than he actually is.
